The training staff of Funeral Industry Development Australia collectively have over 80 years of Funeral Industry Experience. As well as being qualified trainers, they are regularly involved in day to day Funeral Service Operations in their specialist areas as Grief and Bereavement Educators, Conductors, Arrangers, Embalmers, Funeral Director’s Assistants and in Business Management.
Bernadette Magee
Bernadette is a a fully qualified Embalmer, a practicing member of the AIE and BIE with 14 years funeral industry experience. She is the recipient of the Leonard Menlove Award and the Paul Castaldi Scholarship.
James MacLeod
James MacLeod has over 20 years of experience in the funeral industry in many roles across three states - South Australia, ACT and Victoria.
James has numerous qualifications which include a Masters in Business Management, a Certificate in Workplace Leadership, Advanced Certificate in Management Skills, a Certificate in Funeral Management (Australian Funeral Director’s Association) and Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.
Wendy Goy
Wendy Goy has 10 years of experience in many roles in the funeral industry.
Wendy’s qualifications include Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training, Certificate III in Information Technology, and a Bachelor of Science (Psychology). She is an accredited leader of the "Bereaved Partners Program" and has participated in many workshops including Communicating with Bereaved Clients, Customer Service and Train the Computer Trainer.
Pauline Tobin
Pauline is a fully qualified embalmer and a practicing member of the AIE with over 8 years of Funeral Industry Experience. Pauline's experience includes disaster identification with Blake Emergency Services International.
